India has one of the largest numbers of women successfully completing higher education in different area but their role and representation as a key role are still low. Several areas is still perceived as a heavily male dominant field and women often face gender insensitivity at work. There should be more focus on changing perception of women at an organizational level. Hosting national hackathons at collage /University level can create opportunity and innovation. Good mentoring programmes can also encourage young women.
