
ASIS International has announced the appointment of Purvesh Gada as the Vice Chair of the Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) Steering Committee for the 2026–2027 term. The nomination and formal confirmation acknowledge his leadership, longstanding contribution to the ASIS community, and his consistent efforts toward advancing enterprise security practices globally.
In this two-year volunteer leadership role, Purvesh will contribute his expertise toward strengthening ASIS’ global ESRM initiatives, shaping strategic priorities, and supporting knowledge development across industries. As part of the position, he will also participate in ASIS’ leadership programs, including the annual Volunteer Leadership Exchange and others similar programs.
ASIS highlighted that the appointment reflects both trust and responsibility, underscoring its expectation that volunteer leaders uphold the organization’s mission. The organization also emphasized the key role leaders like Purvesh play in developing programs, materials, and thought leadership that advance the profession.

His experience across physical security, risk management, crisis readiness, investigations, and corporate advisory work is expected to add significant value to ongoing ESRM initiatives and the broader ASIS community.
